It’s able to achieve up to 328 horsepower and 326 lb.-ft. of torque, which is plenty to propel you forward down Highway 34. This powertrain is united with a standard 8-speed automatic transmission, which makes gear changes effortless. The vehicle has a standard FWD system, but you could also choose an edition with an available AWD configuration that offers greater traction control during challenging weather conditions like ice or snow. For those who like to fish or cruise the lakes, the model is equipped with a standard 5,000-lb. maximum towing capacity1 to haul your boat.
Cabin
Inside the 8-person 2026 GMC Acadia is everything you need to have an enjoyable journey to Pioneers Park Nature Center. That’s because the cabin features a standard tri-zone automatic climate control system that allows you, your front seat passenger, and your rear passengers to each choose temperature settings. However, up front, there are even more amenities, such as the standard heated front seats. If it's especially cold out, use the standard heated steering wheel to warm up your hands. The layout is also functional and adjustable, so when you're moving furniture, for example, you can fold down the rear chairs to expand the cargo area. With these seats out of the way, you’ll have up to 97.5 cubic ft.2 of volume to work with. With all seats occupied by passengers, you’ll still have up to 23.0 cubic ft.2 of volume to fill with book bags, groceries, and sports gear.
Technology
At the center of your driving experience is a 15-inch touchscreen display that acts as a command center for your entertainment, vehicle settings, and navigation. You won’t even need to use your finger to activate functions, as the standard Voice Activation feature will perform your intentions when given the word to do so. To sync up your phone to this interface, use the standard wireless Apple CarPlay™3 or Android Auto™4 integrations. Meanwhile, the optional 8-inch head-up display projects your driving speed and other necessary information right onto the windshield.
